The food here, especially for the price, is exceptional. Our orders were perfectly done, and the sides we had were delicious. Our server was fantastic, checking in on us without being intrusive. The atmosphere, which I would describe as peaceful and muted, is just what I want for an intimate meal. LBV Steakhouse will definitely continue to be a regular visit. Nice atmosphere and pretty good service. However, the food is mediocre at best. I ordered a ribeye which was so tough I could not cut it. This is the second time I have had steak here and I would not recommend the steaks or the seafood. Shrimp cocktail was sub par as well. I’m pretty sure whatever they served us was not ribeye. The only items I would recommend are the chicken and or the veal scaloppini, baked potato, mashed. Avoid the truffle potatoes. Bread was delicious. This could be such a nice place if it were well managed.

On Saturday, July 29, 2023, my wife and I had dinner at the Casino, LBV Steakhouse, at 6:00 PM. I ordered Lobster with a bowl of Onion Soup and glass of Red Wine. The next morning, Sunday, July 30, 2023, when we arrived home in Pittsburgh at 10:00 AM I experienced EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA with stomach cramps. Several months ago I had raw Oysters at the LBV Steakhouse and had the same experience. Google explains that eating spoiled food can result in Explosive Diarrhea between 6 hours and 24 hours.
