Bidrage med feedbackWent for lunch. Had the turkey sandwich. There is zero chance that the turkey and the bread were made today. The turkey was dry and had that after-thanksgiving taste you get after it’s been in the fridge a couple of days. The bread was also not fresh and was chewy and not crispy. The fries were soggy. Overall a disappointing experience. For the prices and the name association, this place almost has an obligation to deliver. It did not.
We traveled 620 miles yesterday and were looking forward to our dinner here. We had made reservations a month in advance. They showed us to a table right by the staircase which let in 30 degree air every time someone came in from outside We asked for a different table noticing at least 3 tables were open but told we would have to wait. Decided to stay at that table. Eventually I had to put my coat on my lap to stay warmThose 3 tables remained open for 45 minutes which is how long it took to get our salad after waiting 20 minutes for a crab cakeWhen my husband talked to one of the managers as we left explaining how we had been there before but were not coming back, he didn’t ask why. Very disappointed in our experience
A very elevated dining experience! Beautiful atmosphere,great service,amazing food! A must for the experienced foodie!
Very disappointing experience on January 6 for my father's birthday dinner. I asked waitress if the breading on the Organic Fried Chicken was a light amount. She assured me yes. It was a huge amount with no flavor. I cut almost all of it off. The accompanying wild rice was too spicey. My mother ordered the Roasted Lobster. She sent it back since it was too spicey. Her replacement tasted fine. My father was ok with the spice level on his lobster. My brother was OK with his Roasted Cod. I did kick myself for not ordering the Rigatoni Meatballs. I did not order it because I questioned why I would order such a dish if I go to such a fancy restaurant. Sometimes simpler is better. Staff was attentive. Though, we all concluded we'd never go back. I only rate the service 3 stars because the waitress was so wrong on what she told me about the breading on the chicken. I did not want to send it back since my mother already sent back her lobster dish.
I’ll get to the point, the food was excellent with the exception of biting down on a hard lobster shell in the middle of our course. Anyways, the atmosphere was terribly dreadful! Jean-George for what an expert chef you are I was expecting at least a nice place to eat your wonderful creations! For the amount of money we spent for our New Years dinner we were expecting at least some nice (quiet) music but unfortunately it was a night filled with country music and whatever drunk bar people were screaming out blasting in our ear, where at times we could barley hear each other. It was truly upsetting and really diminished the prestige of your restaurant. Anyways, Jean-George your restaurant needs quality control immediately.
