Jane’s Hideaway - Nashville

We came here on NYE for a party of 8 for dinner. The hostess was rude as soon as we came in, and we waited 20 minutes until someone came and brought us water. We placed our drink and apps order, and 30 minutes later the drinks were brought, missing one. We reminded our waitress 3 times before this drink was brought. My dad, the DD ordered Diet Coke, and it was flat. He told our waitress and she brought him a warm can instead, with no ice. We then learned that the can was EXPIRED. Leading to another flat drink. We place dinner orders and realized that the apps were NEVER brought. Drinks were 3/10 as the speciality cocktails were all poorly mixed (some tasted like dish soap?? . I got the squash risotto and it was inedible, however, everyone else seemed to enjoy their safer options (burger, fried chicken, meatloaf . We were offered to take off the Diet Coke, cocktail that took 3 orders, and a 10% discount. The appetizers never came. Music was great but insanely loud so don’t come here if you expect to talk to someone! I have been to Jane’s before and had a great experience but after this, I don’t think I will ever come back. Our waitress did the very best she could but I think the kitchen and the bar failed miserably in setting her up for success. Don’t come here if you want a fun night. It was just too stressful to enjoy anything.

Great experience! Food pairing was great with the whiskey experience. Bluegrass band was awesome.

The house band is fantastic, the food is good and the service is excellent. If you like whiskey, particularly Tennessee whiskey, this is the place for you. Great small bar.

Food was horrible. Meatloaf overcooked and pot pie made my wife sick. Not the place to go for dinner.

We had such a good time at Jane’s Hideaway! Our server, Hilary was wonderful! She recommended some good Tennessee whiskey and drinks and was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the music and atmosphere was great. We are leaving the area in the next few days, but the next time we’re here, we definitely plan on going back to Jane’s Hideaway!!
