Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Stopped in for a solid southern style breakfast. The server was super nice and kept my ice water topped off. The food was really good as well. The country store section was interesting to peruse as well. Lots of cool items!

This goes without saying, but I will anyway. We’ve been coming to Cracker Barrel for many years, and have always enjoyed the menu, and down home feeling. We know what we like and don’t like, so we’ve always been able to substitute this for that, no problem. We have now been informed (since the servers take orders on tablets) that we won’t be able to do any substitutions without up-charges for everything. We definitely prefer being able to talk to the server with a hand-written ticket where they can make subs without having to go through a central computer somewhere. Very disappointed.

You can never go wrong with the pecan pancakes, but adding that rocket fizz mimosa changed the WHOLE game... WHEW!!! I was visiting from Atlanta, so it's always good to get delicious food and great service (Delea was the server).

Everyone is very nice and you will get plenty to eat. I would recommend the French toast and grilled catfish. If you are staying at the Gaylord skip eating at the resort and walk across the street the foods better and the price is a lot more reasonable.
