Shalimar Restaurant - Nashik

Best place for non veg lovers. Awesome food with great taste and good quantity. Service is also very good. Environment is also very good....

I had here the 2nd best chicken patiala in whole of india. Food simply brillant. I had chicken wantom , chicken patiala and chicken masala , all of them were awesome.

I have gotten takes aways from Shalimar a couple of times. Their butter chicken gravy was okay but the chicken was grilled to such an extent that it lacked taste. It was like rubber. The same happened when I got Silver Chicken. The gravy was too too sweet and the chicken portions were weird and dry. And the amount of food color!!!! I can paint a room with their food!  Can't say anything about service or ambience since I have never been there personally.

Shalimar, Typical oldie name but, some serious foodinngg being served here. It is located inside of a local market at pathardi fata, and looks small from outside, As the entrance is from a shop, The moment you enter, This Resto is huge with Air Conditioning. Here they serve everything From Mughlai kebabs to chilli chicken. I was out to Nasik for a convocation with my better half and we had lunch here in Shalimar twice. Typical good big menu to choose from... We had Chicken Chilli, Chicken lollipops and Biryani with some cold drinks and assorted Roti's. In Nasik good hubs r actually hard to find, and local rickshaws take you to their local favourites. Yes, Shalimar use food colour in their food and it can be easily seen on your fingers after meals... Have to peep into my PC for snaps. Will get back with some of the snaps soon. Thanks

Visited here for a lunch. Ordered veg handi with butter chapati, dal tadka with steam rice and dal khichdi. The best was veg handi. It had a v good taste. Daltadka and dal khichdi was also good. The service is poor as only one guy to take the order hit entire restro. There is s huge problem for parking. After requesting many times the watchman for the motel agreed for basement parking which is allowed for motel guests. But the entry exit of basement parking is too congested.
