Campiello - Naples

Every time my husband and I are in the Naples area we make a stop at this fabulous restaurant. The food is excellent as well as the atmosphere and service!

We got the 3 course early bird special. Soup and salad were two of the courses. The waitress was ready to serve the salad before we finished the soup. The food was poor and it was way overpriced.

We recently visited Naples, and thanks to the resort that we were staying at and there recommendation by the bartender we tried this restuarant. The food was excellent and all four of us would recommend this restaurant. In fact we would make the trip to Naples just to visit the restaurant.

It is the slow time of year- and they play that old game of wait at the bar- even though half the place is empty? Then I get a slow and rude waitress? Forget it folks, this is no way to treat customers. Dine somewhere else- there are 12 restaurants within walking distance of these awful people.

We were seated 45 minutes late from our reservation time, the server took 25 minutes until he got around to take our order, the food was mediocre at best, we had to sent a BAD bottle of wine back (the waiter did not like this) and our server had a real bad attitude when I didn't tip him 20% for his bad service and made a COMPLAINT to me in front of my very unsatisfied guests. Save your money and go somewhere else you might thank me for the heads up.
