Bidrage med feedbackDoes not return calls, emails though website as suggested on voicemail or either Facebook messengers (local first and gluten free Galaxy) They got people hooked on the Gluten free cinnamon rolls and made them available at multiple locations and now I can’t find them anywhere. I tried to contact a week ahead to try to order the cinnamon rolls and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone and on Thursday afternoon when someone finally answered the phone I was told it was too late to order any for the weekend. Their “pop tarts” are not worth $7 and neither are their donuts. They do make amazingly addictive cinnamon rolls and cupcakes though, at least time I was able to find them they were. Plus last time I was in the store the gentleman rang up my order wrong and tried to charge me $9 extra.
Really wanted this to be an overall great experience. Positivity first. The server (I think the owner) was really nice and tries to make everyone comfortable.I agree with the other review that the place has a really awkward atmosphere and doesn't feel like a boutique eatery. The tablecloths had previous meals on it and when the cloth was removed, the table underneath was just as dirty. Can overlook things like this when the food is amazing.Next, the tables were super wobbly and made for a very stressful dining experience. Not off-balance...it was like the bolts holding the table together were all loose. The water at the table didn't have any ice and the smell of the water was dank and off-putting. They likely don't have a filter and it's city tap water. On to the menu. We ordered **** Mary's, pizza, cinnamon roll/French toast, biscuits and gravy and quiche.I was surprised at how small the menu is, but realized this place is probably a Godsend for those who are seriously Celiac so I get it.The dish's came out in quarter-size TV dinner portions (made for stores) with no sides and at $11-12 prices each. The biscuits had a sweet taste and the gravy was far too salty. We had a couple bites of the quiche and the vegan egg substitute was just gross unfortunately. The vegan cheese on the pizza was pretty awful too.Definitely not worth the $80 lunch we spent and we'll not be back.Ending on a positive note, the GF Galaxy baked goods are great and can be found at Albertson's.I highly recommend they consider abandoning the restaurant concept and stick to quality baked goods for those who appreciate it.
What a cool cafe and bakery. Their gluten free bread is absolutely delicious. Their service and staff Is fantastic. We definitely love supporting local business and this place has a special place in our heart. We Highly recommend their gluten free food to everyone. Go check them out.
Great place! The service was perfect, the food was great and the place was clean. I was happy to eat somewhere where i didn't leave feeling sick. 100% gluten free and they cater to other sensitivities/ allergies as well.
The restaurant was charming and the owner was sweet. My husband has a gluten and dairy allergy and we are pretty experienced in the gluten free world. I hate to leave a bad review but the gluten free items were the worst I’ve ever had. Extremely bitter. We took a pastry to go as well as most of our food and it had to be thrown away
