Tried ghee podi idli and rava dosai. Podi masala is made in such an authentic style. Ghee float added so much flavour. Idli was so soft sponge like. The way this dish was served it made me feel hungry for me. Rava dosai was crispy and it had such a good net formation in it. Mind blowing south indian food. I wish I could have such food everyday.
Had a full meals for a hundred bucks. Worth the money. Please note that their meal does not include chapati/puri. Items were javarsi payasam (sabudana? , Masal vada, appalam, rice, kootu, fried poriyal, one sabji, buttermilk, rasam, karakozambu, sambar and dal. Quite clean ambience with AC and good servers.For dinner, I had idly with podi (costs extra , 4 types of chutney, sambar, sambar vada, ghee dosa and coffee. All were nice. Coffee had slightly more chicory than my preference.
Best idlies and dosa's in town, nothing can beat the breakfast that you get here and best part is that the quality is maintained all across. Only thing I think they need to work on is to ensure they keep the place also up to date.
The best place in Chennai for Idly. Love the taste of the side dishes. Jigirthanda is another highlight in the restaurant. Staffs are polite and do the best service.
