Toot's - Murfreesboro

We brought a large group to dinner at a restaurant after Toots on a Friday night. The place was packed, but we only had to wait about 15 minutes for enough tables to be put together. We ordered a variety of appetizers, and our favorites were the fried pickles and chips with salsa. For our main course, most of us chose the fried catfish, which was delicious. The roasted oysters were also really good, and the chicken fingers were tasty as well, whether dipped in sauce or eaten plain. We also tried the pommes frites, sweet potatoes, and boiled chips as sides, and all of them were pretty good. The servers were attentive, constantly refilling our drinks and clearing away dishes. The restaurant was a bit loud, but it suited the energetic group we were with. The desserts looked tempting, but we were too full to try them.

We have never had a negative experience at this restaurant. Our server Kathryn was exceptional today - she was friendly and efficient with our food and drinks. My bacon cheeseburger was delicious as always, and my fiancée tried the shrimp po' boy in hot garlic for the first time and loved it. He said it will definitely be something he would order again.
