Red Drum Gastropub - Mt. Pleasant

Our party of 6 enjoyed a very pleasant evening dining outside here. We shared a crispy duck wings appetizer which was delicious. They don?t skimp on liquor when making cocktails either, very good. I had the catch of the day (wahoo) which was pan roasted and served with a wonderful group of sides. Everyone in our group said their dinner was excellent. I had the rum cake for desert , yummy! Unpopular opinion in these parts, but I 've yet to have anything here that makes me wanna come back on the regular. The burger with a sweaty slice of cheese says it all. Duck wings were good. Service was good. Atmosphere is good. Food...way too many better options in Mount Pleasant.

My husband LOVED his steak! One of the best he?s had in a long time. I had the chicken sandwich, I wouldn?t get it again. The staff was friendly but our waitress was really out there. Her mind seemed to be somewhere else. It is a pretty loud place so conversation can be difficult. While my husband enjoyed his meal, we did agree that this place was overpriced and they do charge more if you pay with a credit card.

We had a private party in the wine cellar and it was phenomenal. The service was top notch and the food was outstanding. We were impressed by chef Cassandra. Every dish was delicious. The appetizers and deserts were perfect bookends for a fabulous meal.

I had high hope for this place, but sadly I was disappointed. Our drinks were the best part of the entire meal. The duck wings appetizer was pretty good. Although the fish and scallops were cooked very well both of our entrees lacked flavor. High priced, mediocre food.
