Road trip got us stopping for Freddy?s steakburger cooked thin and grilled crispy around the edges. Double Steakburger California Style with two premium, lean 10O% ground beef with Thousand Island, fresh lettuce tomato served on a toasted bun. Combo comes with a drink and seasoned, crispy shoestring fries. Some outdoor patio seating and inside limited booths lining the wall. Wow! I never thought I'd be so enthusiastic about a fast food stop, but I was that impressed with the service here! We swung by while on a road trip with our two toddlers, and were just very happy with how we were treated. The staff were kind and patient as we decided what to order (it was our first time at a Freddy's . The cheeseburger was very good, and they had big slices of pickle (why don't more places do that? !! Shoestring fries can be a bit hit or miss for folks, but I liked them (and so did my children . Perfectly crispy. We weren't sure how much the kids would eat, so we split the kids meal and they cut the kids cheeseburger in half for them and put the milk in two different cups for them. It was just an incredibly thoughtful gesture that we didn't even have to ask for. I've only had that happen at sit down restaurants, and even then sporadically. They wolfed down all their food, so it was clearly delicious to them too. The dining area is clean and well kept. The bathrooms are clean and this is the first place I've been since I've had kids where the Koala Bear changing station ACTUALLY had the changing covers. Just so impressed by our experience. We literally came home and looked for a Freddy's near us to see if this is just the norm with the chain or we happened to stop by an amazing one.

The facility was spotless, the food was tasty, I love the small fries, the narrow cut! Kind of reminded me of steak and shake. But they're smash burgers are thinner and crispier! Interestingly, my wife usually cannot eat red meat, but she didn't get sick eating her patty melt at Freddy's! Again, like I always say, clean bathrooms clean kitchen! Dirty bathrooms, go somewhere else and eat. Their bathrooms were spotless!????????????

It?s fast food similar to steak and shake. We stopped as we had never seen or heard of Freddy?s before. The drive thru was a bit slow but the staff were friendly and the food came fast. My husband got a spicy burger and really liked his. I got the California burger and it was okay. Fries were good! Fine fast food. It was around $20 for two burger meals.

Been a while since I visited a Freddy's. Great food and value for the money. Great steakburger and wonderful custard ice cream desserts!
