Bidrage med feedbackGreat food, good taste and beautiful service. it was a long time between eating here, but that waits between. much better than a pizza in the chain store.
A sense of originality and authenticy. Their food tasted like home cooked food. Which I like because it tasted 'real ' or as if it was nostalgic dish my mum made. Fresh ingredients and a lovely local place which deserves a lot of recognition for being a long running home grown business.
This restaurant is one of the few independent pizza places in Mount Isa. I thought their prices were a bit high. I ordered the House Special and found the quality and taste to be good, but not significantly better than the national pizza chains to justify the cost. They only accept cash for transactions, no credit cards or EFTPOS. If you are looking for a change from Domino's and Pizza Hut, and want to support local businesses, give them a try. However, I find it hard to recommend them over the larger chains.
I was fortunate that the pizzas at this restaurant were delicious because everything else was quite average. The person I spoke to on the phone didn't know what BYO meant when I inquired about bringing alcohol to drink. Additionally, when I asked about dining in, they seemed unsure. There are only two tables available for customers to sit at, as the others are reserved for those waiting for their orders. Unfortunately, they do not offer delivery services. The pizza sizes available are medium and large, with no option for a small. When I asked about the size of the large pizza, I was told it serves 8 people and the medium serves 6, rather than being told the number of slices. I inquired about the size compared to a Domino's pizza, but they were unable to provide an answer. The pizzas took 30 minutes to cook on a regular weekday night, despite being told it would take 20 minutes. Lastly, they do not accept Eftpos or credit card payments.
Rang up to order a pick up and was greeted by someone who couldn’t speak English, I was then passed to the owner and I asked a couple of questions about what they had on their menu when I was told “best to just come in” and was hung up on. Their pizzas must be good because their service is terrible
