Tog’s Cafe - Mount Alexander

The staff and customers were beautiful and to make it from the best coffee in Australia (in my opinion). The place was crowded, but we were invited to sit at their table by a customer. What followed was a wonderful conversation and a delicious breakfast.... This turned out to be one of the highlights of our holiday. Thank you.

The sliced lemon/cococon cake had a separation line in it. not cooked on one side, almost boiled on the other. zucker is sitting in a blob.

While I recently visited castlemaine, I have this caffe. first impressions are really not wonderful, but find a park and wander in anyway. during the curb-side appeal is not what he has. once in, the magie happens. there's something nice about this caffe. it is...so welcoming, warm and attractive. service was excellent and I mean, excellent! everyone I spoke to was really nice. my selection of food was not ideal for me, and I should have gone my first choice, instead of thinking that it was a bit more exciting. I said it was delicious. I also had a wonderful high glass orange juice (from harcourt with my meal. there are gifts everywhere and even if it is not their cup tee, they still find it interesting to see. So if I had to recommend this caffe. I really would! I actually loved it that it is unique, so much that I would return. they were very confident that I had to take part in a business meeting on my phone and directed me to choose the quietest position. I think my businessmen might have been a bit jealous when I told them where I was, and they heard the Melow music playing.

I used to love this place. I went in for my weekly coffee and cake at mid morning to be greeted by a slightly aggressive officious woman. She snapped, Did you sign in!!? No good morning, no lovely day just this then 'I need...photo id '!! Have stopped ordering lunch for value this is poor. Now I will stop the rest, sorry can find pleasanter places to sit.
