We had different views on whether to choose regular salt or chicken salt for our chips, but we ultimately decided on regular salt. However, when our order was ready, the owner kindly included a separate container of chicken salt just for me. The service was excellent and the flake was cooked to perfection.

The yellow chips at this restaurant are seriously amazing - I can't help but wonder if they use food coloring! They are perfectly cooked and delicious. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including their tasty cheese kranskys. And don't forget to try their deep fried Mars bar - it's a must-have!

I typically order the chips and grilled fish at this restaurant, and they taste delicious. It seems like the oil is changed frequently because the chips are golden and crunchy. The owners are always very friendly, and I appreciate their hard work during these challenging times. Thank you for the lovely food.

Been coming here every Friday night for a few months for a bit of a treat. Consistently good and friendly service. It's a bit on the expensive side, but everything in Castlemaine is this is where the hipsters move when they age out of Fitzroy. I've become somewhat hooked on the cheese kransky's an item I never thought I would find myself ordering but even though I can feel my arteries harden every time I eat one I can't seem to stop. The Souvlaki's are good too. You can easily pay the same price for one in Melb that looks fancier but will have half the ingredients.

First time ordering from here ,friendly service reasonable prices with wide range of food .Ordered flake with one of the best batters (thin) have ever had on fish .On a visit from Queensland .
