Orchard Restaurant - Morrisburg

Not that great a spot. We were warned it was inconsistent, and would agree with that recommendation. We order the variety appy platter - it came missing some items. The sauce on the wings is thick - more like ketchup than typical wing sauce (which is usually thin).Drinks seemed to take a long time. One of our party ordered water. The jug was put down on the table beside us as she served our drinks - then she left without pouring the water.Two people ordered "open face" Dijon Mushroom burgers (burgers with no bun). There was no Dijon on the burger. Our waitress explained that ordering them without a bun probably got the kitchen confused. (Huh? It was called a Dijon Mushroom Burger on the menu as one of the 2 feature ingredients was Dijon. It wasn't a condiment - it's why people order it!!)Not the worst I've eaten, but would definitely try several other places in Morrisburg before venturing back there again. If you go - try not to confuse the kitchen!!

Every fall as the air gets a little more brisk and leaves start to change, I get excited because its time to head back out to Mountain Orchard! My friends

"Well organizedGreat donuts". This is the quick note I wrote to myself in September so I could finish my review when I had time.

They used to stop at this restaurant once or twice a year. It used to be a favorite spot, but not anymore! The prices for wings are ridiculous, especially when ordering a smaller quantity. The same goes for the medium-sized Caesar salad. And this is Morrisburg, not downtown Toronto! I'm so angry... I won't be returning and I'll be warning others in the community.

This was a brunch. The waitresses were very friendly, obliging and professional. The food selection was great and ABUNDANT, including the deserts! The overall atmosphere of the dining room was relaxing. Access to the restaurant was quite easy and parking was most practical'.
