Food and service was amazing and my 83 year old grandmother said it was the best brisket she has ever eaten!

5 out of 5.....who am I kidding this place is a solid 10 for 10. Great service, great food at a great price. Keep cranking out the goodness that we all love from Verlies!!!!!

We enjoy visiting Verlies and have been there several times over the years. Unfortunately, tonight was not the best for the food, though the service remained good, as it always has been. Given the concerns with romaine lettuce, I didn't anticipate having that, but I was hoping for bib lettuce instead. My wife and I both ordered the Prime Rib, which arrived fairly quickly while we were still finishing our salads. The meat was tender and had a decent flavor, but it was served cool to the touch, and the au jus was similarly lukewarm. For dessert, we opted for the blueberry bread pudding, which we knew was the last piece available. Unfortunately, it also came out cool and was served without the usual sauce that accompanies bread pudding. If this had been our first experience, we might not return, but we understand that any restaurant can have an off night. We will definitely give it another try.
