Bidrage med feedbackZero stars.I ordered roast potatoes and chicken sandwich. What I got ended my loving the food from here.My whole order came cold and the chicken sandwich was slyly filled with boiled chicken skin instead of chicken meat boiled chicken skin is disgusting and bad for your health and cheap on the restaurants behalf.I was a loyal patron now NO MORE.!!! At this restaurant order with extreme caution and prejudice!
Try the Portuguese desserts on display very scrumptious I could eat 10 of them. Delicious poutine too, very well priced. The service is very friendly and intentional you can tell the people who own this establishment really do a fine job making people happy. The lady who owns the establishment was very courteous and warm. I think this place if I had known about it sooner I would have gone here to spend money on food rather than the upscale restaurants my wife and I attended for the week we were here
Next door to Schwartz Deli is Coco Rico. I had just finished dinner and was looking around when I noticed these pastries at Coco Rico. I ordered a pastel de Nata (Portuguese custard tarts) with some cinnamon sprinkled on top. I went outside to eat it and moments later, round two! I went back inside, waited in line and ordered another pastel de Nata, as they are that good! I spoke to the lady behind the counter, where I got to practice a bit of my Spanish. The pastel de Nata is must if you are in the area! I also hear their other food is quite good as well from my chat with other customers while in line. If I didn’t already had dinner, I would have dined here, as the food looked good!
Long lines gather and wait to get into Schwartz’s down the street, St Laurent, but the big news in my view is the great Portuguese rotisserie chicken and potato at the corner, where for a very modest price you can get a half chicken that rivals the best you ever had anywhere. The only seating is on stools along the wall but what the place lacks in comfort it more than makes up in delicious fare. Chow down! Try not to overeat!
Went in this amazing Portuguese rotisserie in Montréal to purchase lots of natas and amazing corn breads for my family in Ottawa... yummy!!
