La Rocca Osteria - Montclair

Simply a wonderful and absolutely delicious restaurant. The owners and entire staff are lovely. I really dislike when I go out and spend money on mediocre food... at La Rocca, I say take my money. The handmade pasta and flavors in all the dishes are so good. Definitely recommend the lasagna (seriously the best I 've ever had, but not so cheesy so if that is your vibe then maybe it won 't be your favorite, but you 'll still think its fantastic and the LAMB CHOMPS!! Wonderful local Italian restaurant in low-key location. Friendly, knowledgeable service and fresh food prepared with great care. We dine here regularly, bring our friends and entertain clients in this cozy and comfortable space. The menu has something for everyone and the specials are always worth checking out. Stella took care of us during our most recent visit and was a total pro. BYO so make sure to bring a nice bottle or two of wine. Also try the calamari or ask them to step it up with a misto which is a variety of fried seafood in a potato basket. Make a reservation and come hungry!

Outstanding food, friendly service, great location. Inside, outside dining. Best Lasagna ever, fresh pasta, great gravy. Better than mom. Sorry mom. First review was from 11 months ago. Same applies today. Great food.

First time dinning at La Rocca, why did I wait so long??? Amazing food, I really enjoyed the Parmigiano Soufflé special. Dessert featured my favorite from Giottos, strawberries with balsamic vinegar.
