I'di Vino - MONTAIONE

This is a very reasonable pizza restaurant, I don't want to say cheap because that would be underselling it. Staff were friendly and helpful, it is very popular with the locals which is always a good sign!

Nice coffee, attentive staff, great ice cream, nice wines and very friendly local customers. We came here every evening after dinner and quite often during the day.

Riding through Montaione, we were recommended this bar (very central, a short walk from the scenic terrace overlooking the underlying Valdelsa) for ice creams. We ordered (at the table outside; there is no additional charge) a large fruit salad bowl covered with hazelnut and mascarpone ice cream, and a cone with tastes of cheese cake and gianduia chocolate. The cup was good, but the ice cream flavors in cone were sublime. Fair bill: 5,50 euros. A notice outside the bar informs that various dishes are also available for lunch. Very recommendable.

The “Il Di...vino” is certainly also a good bar, but especially it makes the best ice of montaione with the possibility to enjoy the breathtaking view from the wall to san miniato.The “Il Di...vino” also offers the addition of the charging cards with which you can be free of charge at the municipal charging columns... there tastes the ice even better
