Bidrage med feedbackOne day, my team and I came to this restaurant for lunch and had reserved a table for 5 people.
I visited this restaurant for a work event during lunchtime on a weekday.
I visited this restaurant for a business lunch recently, and I was immediately impressed by the decor and ambiance as soon as I entered.
Including dinner last evening, I have enjoyed lunch/dinner here half a dozen times in recent months. The menu is focused and the food consistently delivers. Service is excellent and the atmosphere European cozy. Highlights for me include excellent salads (Caesar; hearts of palm); solid home-made soups; pork medallions; piri-piri shrimp and pasta; several salmon entrees; chicken parmigiana. A discussion with chef confirms his emphasis on fresh veggies and a deliberate absence of beef on the menu.I have tried a number of Tremblant's more expensive tables but in every case the first experience was my last. If looking for a relaxed and intimate restaurant experience in Tremblant, Resto du Hameau offers good value for money and tasty fare!
We were away on a mini-trip at Mont Tremblant but didn't want to eat in the resort area on this Saturday evening. We explored nearby St-Jovite which is approx 12 minutes away from the resort area and found Resto du Hameau. Our first impression was very good - we found the restaurant very charming and comfortable. A bit surprisingly, it was not busy at although we were there around 6pm so it may have been a little early. The server brought us some home made bread which was simply amazing; it was actually the highlight of the food we dined on that evening. The menu was fairly small which I often find means that a restaurant has chosen to specialize in a few select dishes - for me it raises my expectastions. My wife and I shared a french-onion soup and then we both ordered the same main dish - pork medallions. Both were ok; not amazing, not bad.One thing we really liked was that though the restaurant didn't offer a children's menu they offered childre-sized portions off of the main menu for an extremely reasonable price. Both ordered a pasta dish. Given the restaurant had a small menu which included a number of pasta dishes I was expecting the pasta to be perfect. It was mediocre at best.Dinner for 2 adults and 2 children including the soup appetizer and 2 beers came out to a very reasonable $70 before taxes.
