If you leave here hungry it's your own fault! I ordered the soft tacos and they were great! The service was good but she only checked on us once. Other than that it was a very good experience.Food: 5/5

This place use to be very good,this trip it was very hot inside we had a party of 15 took 45 minutes to get food witch was cold food delivered was not what was ordered ,some was cold and mine was never cooked ,your talking about a $360.00 tab COME ON MAYFAIR

This was our first time dining here and it was Amazing! The white fish and shrimp was very good. The whole establishment is very clean and the staff was very friendly.Food: 5/5

I was a part of a party of 20 guests. The server whose name I did not record, was very attentive and actually performed well considering the number of guests in our party. Most of the food was delivered piping hot. A couple of meals were delivered approaching cold. I give kudos to Mayfair, as there was another group seated very close to ours. That group had to be nearly 40-strong. I look forward to returning.Parking: Parking is close to the building with full-size parking spaces. My arrival time was 2:00 pm for an early dinner on Saturday before Mother's Day. Even though the restaurant seemed to be at about 80% of its seating capacity, the parking lot was full. The drive-through was quite busy as well.

Mayfair had a fire a few years ago and the building had to be be radically repaired. Since reopening with new kitchen equipment Mayfair is an excellent traditional North Carolina seafood restaurant. Much better than it was before the rebuild. The seafood is appropriately cooked without being over or under done. The tarter sauce, cocktail sauce and hushpuppys are much better than other seafood restaurants in the area. Prices are reasonable.
