Bidrage med feedbackVery poor service, came around 1900 clock and had to ask about 2000 clock according to our order, this meant that the table that came after us had chosen all the king-scallopens so that none remained for us. I needed a steak knife to cut my duck and the steaks, although tasty were small, double boiled chips underboiled. the coffee was ordered at 2200 o'clock and arrived at 2230 o'clock, the staff stood in the bar area. very indefinite service, will not come back.
We had a big family celebration and were therefore asked to announce the order. still missing a starter so one of the parties had to wait. there were 20 of us so it is easy to miss a court. the appetizers were all delicious....The main thing was a little slow to get out, which meant that eating was not hot when we could eat. the whole food was tasty, but a duck was mostly gristle and some of the steaks were a little hard. the duck was a “one off” as the others were good. I mentioned it and showed the gristish remnants to the staff, but she did not seem to care. While it was not terrible and the young waiting staff were beautiful, I felt a little underwhelmed. including a tip, the bill was just short £1000 and yet the experience not really the cost. the older members of the party had to wake up their as the room was a little cool. we will not rush back.
We came here on a snowy day with two friends. we ordered about 1ish no appetizers) only Sunday dinner and received no food until 2 o'clock. the service was very slow. a few after we were served before us, and I ended. after asking where our food was when we were starving. I ordered lamb, which was beautiful, and I mean the bark. our friends had linguine and cadjau. I'm not sure if the linguine and cadjau came with the kind they brought out, as it was on Sunday. but also for the bark and the lamb were the sweets brought out by them small. a small dish of carrot and runner beans and a small dish of cauliflower cheese. they apologized for the waiting period. but when we were served, it seemed that they couldn't leave us alone and took away dishes again and again when we eat without asking what was just annoying to be honest! the food itself was good, but I would think twice about coming back because of the slow service and lack of veg.
Nice environment and nice staff, but .. paid £37 for a 3-course dinner. starter: lachse. haupt: ein pfeifenschnitt in der hal. schlampe. lamm shreddered and rolled into a cylinder. the plate was small, but even so that the dinner barely filled the...center of it. dessert: Christmas pudding medaillon around a customs and a half over 2cm deep with a pan of custards on it. they have thrown a few whitebait as a bonus starter, but there were only about 8 fish for 6 people. eating was warm, it was cool to sit on the wall. if they are ready to pay for beautiful environment and not disturbing portions, then this is the place for them. I'm sure their profits are pretty healthy.
Food was perfection and the service was excellent! everything was homemade and you can tell as the food is authentic and brilliant. Definitely worth a visit!
