We arrived to Mompiche super hungry for vegan options and were so happy to find Mariana and her delicious homemade food. First I get confused because the place runs for other people and serves different options. I was so glad to see that Mariana is still in Mompiche just before la cotona. Her place is called Madre Selva now, is a beautiful restaurant with a cool atmosphere. With much vegan and vegetarian option. I even have vegan pasta and lasagna was delicious!

Mariana makes a wonderful job with her small café, with a great menu, including vegan and gluten-free dishes. I was a few times in La Cotona and the service is always delightful, the food is always delicious, the coffee is always fresh and hot, and everyone is always friendly.
