I had a great experience enjoying a delicious vegan chocolate cupcake and hibiscus iced tea at this restaurant. It was absolutely delightful. Although they only had 1 or 2 other vegan options available, I was grateful to find the cupcake to enjoy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the indoor seating was comfortable with a nice interior. Despite some negative reviews, I believe this place is a gem, especially in a town where vegan options are hard to come by. Having even just 1 or 2 vegan options is a blessing, and I appreciated the variety they offered. While I wish they had a larger selection, I was happy to have at least something to eat. The cupcake really lifted my spirits and I left feeling satisfied.

Bernice's Bakery is improving in its vegan offerings since the past reviews were written. Every day they have a Vegan Oatmeal Fruit bar, made with different fruits as the seasons change. Additionally there is a vegan pumpkin muffin and a vegan chocolate cup cake. You can also order (with 48 hours notice) a vegan chocolate cake in any of their sizes ahead of time and buy the whole cake. (Think: Birthday party). Vegan lunch options include a changing salad variety, hummus with blue corn chips, and occasional vegan soup. The soup is vegan usually, but cream-based soups contain dairy. (Call ask what is available on a given day). The owner is responsive to suggestions and is trying to reach out to Missoula's vegan community.
