Sunnyside Grill - Mississauga

I had a great time at Sunnyside Grill with my family last weekend. The exterior of the restaurant may look a bit rundown, but the inside has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I was impressed by how friendly the servers were towards the children dining there. They really took the time to connect with them, and I noticed that the back wall was covered with drawings made by children of all ages. It was a charming touch that made me think it would be a great place to bring my own kids, if I had any.

I was aiming to try somewhere new with my family and didn't have high expectations as the restaurant had a non-traditional vibe. However, the staff was incredibly friendly and to my surprise, the food was delicious. I would definitely come back to dine at this restaurant.

Of the all day breakfast houses around I have enjoyed this one the best. When you go for breakfast you want a traditional breakfast, bacon, eggs, toast and hash browns. And thats what I use to measure all day breakfast places. I have been at...Sunnyside several times and at no time has it disappointed. I order a traditional with 2 eggs over medium, bacon, white toast with hash browns. Typically due to a specialized menu Breakfast places should nail the breakfast. Adn the eggs, bacon (i request soft) and toast should be perfect and they are close to being that at Sunnyside. The hash browns, or potato are were the places set themselves apart in my opinion. Some are bland some have other things like onions red peppers etc to jazz them up. But taking the lowly potato and cooking and seasoning it until its awesone it what I want and Sunnyside does that in my opinion. And that is why I enjoy eating there. My family have ordered other items like toasted western and eggs bene and all have enjoyed it as well.

Last time we were there was for a brunch during the week and there were few people. We had some GREAT special omlette-style sandwiches and were afraid this great spot wasn 't going to last. Fortunately, for all of Mississauga, and all food lovers, SUNNYSIDE has...prevailed! This place was PACKED this morning!!! This morning 's Sunday breakfast was great. Started with some rich bottomless cup coffee. Our eggs, bacon and peameal were spot on and the homefries were nicely crisped (I like 'em double grilled) with some celery salt. This area was in bad need of a place like this which concentrates on a few things well.....breakfasts and lunches. They usually close at 4 p.m. Some great daily specials which are usually pictured on the front windows or check their website menu.

New restaurant for the area. I have been several times and each time the breakfast has been made quickly and great quality. I have had the bacon and eggs. Eggs were cooked as ordered over easy and the bacon was good. Coffee as plentiful...and hot. The traditional bacon(4) and eggs is $6.99 plus coffee on the weekend. Great deal!
