South St. Burger - Mississauga

There for lunch with a friend who adored a vegetable burger. Both the Vegie of the Angus-Rindburgers were decent (not big, not bad, just above average), the frits were very good, but the onion rings were a bit oily. The...king list of free toppings for Burger was excellent! Good service by friendly staff. I would recommend this place.

Have visited many times. Always enjoy our meals. Friends are particularly good. Would definitely recommend.

2 Hamburgers ordered. I didn't cook one right at home. It was raw in the middle. Take one back and replace both. What happened to her, we cook everything well. 2 hot hamburgers and cold French fries came home.

Had wanted to try this place for years and because of coupons sitting in my car with several coupons attached we decided to pop in today. Entering the restaurant, there were dirty tables and only three tables occupied out of about 8. Nice atmosphere very...modern but that's about it. Glad we had a coupon!! If you get a specialty Burger it's $2.50 more on top of the $5.95. I had the barbecue bacon burger so basically I paid $2.50 for a very thin slice of cheddar and a piece of bacon. My boyfriend had the mushroom and Swiss burger and that also did not look like it was worth the $2.50 extra. However we were given a choice of a white bun or multigrain so we went for the multigrain. Very disappointed that they just took the bun out of the plastic bag rather than grilling it or warming it up as it tasted like it was a couple of days old and not very fresh. Secondly, the burger was like shoe leather you couldn't even cut it with a fork which I experienced when I realized I did not want to eat that bun and fill up on something that wasn't good. I must say they have a great selection of toppings. My burger included guacamole which was put on the bun as if it was butter, very thin. I'm sure I could have asked for more but I just wanted to see what they do. The fries were very good, you can't go wrong with New York fries! Anyways, a long story short we left our other coupons there and during the whole time (about 40 min 1p.m.)not one of the two girls was out on the floor cleaning any of the tables and the man who was at the cash whether he was the manager or owner was not present after ringing in the order. For a manager/owner, you would think that he would want to make sure his place is clean and presentable at all times. The washrooms were clean and the soap was very nice. I will not be back to any South Street Burger unfortunately. Thanks for letting me try it with a coupon I saved $6.49 but also wasted over $18 which included one drink between us.

I love this chain's burgers. They aren't the best, but the topping options are huge, and for some reason the burgers are just great. The fries are better at this location than others that I've visited, and the service was fairly fast considering the lunch...rush.
