Bidrage med feedbackI tried the Kalb Mini Sandwich at this restaurant and it was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and even offered to make it extra spicy for me. They had this delicious Jalapeño Sauce that added so much flavor to the dish. It was absolutely amazing!
I've never been more horrified in my life with the way a business treats a situation with an annoyed customer. The problem is no longer to have a mix with the order that has been placed, but more so that the fact that I receive nothing as respect when complaining about the service. I talked to a very unprofessional manger, with lies, excuses and finally “I regret that I am too busy, I have a line up” and then hang in my face twice. I am in even more shock that after speaking with Joe (the owner of California Sandwiches in place of Mississauga Heartland) answer is “There are thousands of restaurants if you don’t like the service then go somewhere else” This really enforces the belief that Joe doesn't care to have customers often his location. This makes clear that its customers from his point of view have no value for him, especially because “It’s just $15”. Joe has personally made the environment unwilling and unpleasant for me and has definitely lost a customer (which I am aware that it doesn't matter). In fact, his laughing that after the fact that he offered to leave me a $20 gift card and said that if I wanted it, then it is there and if not then that is up to me. This means that if you want to continue to visit this site, you may think that you are NOT important to its business as there are thousands of alternative decisions. In other words, if you are unhappy about the service you receive, then too bad and do not come back. You would think an entrepreneur would know that your customers are valuable and without them you have nothing but deteriorating goods and closed doors. I really hope this stays in mind when you go to California Sandwiches Heartland location in Mississauga and remember that you are a disposable customer in the eyes of this restaurant owner.
A light lunch. I just wanted some soups. She offered a special combo on three items, we chose two soups and some pasta. Just to say that the soups do not qualify for the combo. (They offered it BTW: this special combo did not appear at their stated prices.) So we went for only two soups, for which we were charged 5,65 per, plus taxes for a total of 12,49 for soup. Tim hortons looked better all the time! The soup itself was watery, and the cloth was not completely mixed, so it was stringy. At this point I saw that soup should be 4.88 on the menu, not 5,65. I pointed this out to the staff. The first person apologized. Your manager came by and gave us the look as if we were a pain in the a... They offered us 1.30 refunds that did not cover the difference. Tim Hortons looks much better now! I have eaten and enjoyed their sandwiches in the past, but it will take a long time until I go through their doors again. Food under par, service worse!
When a franchise takes the original concept that was excellent and water it so much it no longer resembles the product that made it popular. Enter the chicken leaf. That was the smallest cheapest chicken I've ever seen on a bungalow. Cheap, cheap. I'll never return.
I have been enjoying veal sandwiches at California Sandwiches for the past 34 years. It all began with a delicious sandwich in 1983 at their original location on Claremont and I have been a loyal customer ever since. Even though I haven't lived in the GTA for 25 years, I always make sure to stop for a veal sandwich whenever I am in the area. Whether it's on my way into or out of Toronto, or before and after a flight, nothing beats the crispy veal and bun drenched in their signature sauce. It's absolutely delicious!
