Smack Shack - Minneapolis

We were greeted with a smile and seated right away. Our server greeted us right away. Drinks came quickly as well. They were excellent! We ordered a couple appetizers and dinner. Everything we ordered was hot and delicious. Had a great experience and will definitely be returning soon.

Smack Shack was my favorite restaurant when they first got their brick and mortar space back in 2012. I unfortunately moved away from MN but was back for a wedding needed to visit for some of my favorite bites. I was thrilled the quality was just as great as I remembered my boyfriend said the lobster melt he got on the brunch menu was one of the best things he's ever eaten. Thanks for a fun meal can't wait to come back during our next trip!

The food and service was good as always. However, we ordered a dish that we have ordered twice before, and the price was the same but the portions were smaller. We got 1.5 crab claws and thought the price we paid was too high for that portion. Although the crab legs were very good quality. Will go back but probably won't order the snow crab leg special again.

I really like this restaurant. The outdoor seating is nice, and the food is great. A little pricey, though. I wish they'd turn the music down. I prefer a quieter dining experience, and having to make oneself heard over the music makes conversation a bit harder and more stressful.
