Bidrage med feedbackDelicious! We loved the dan dan noodles and being able to share different plates at our table. Thanks!
The service was mediocre, the menu items were appealing, however execution was really disappointing. The oil they fried in seemed a bit overused. The flavors of the food were not well developed or balanced. For instance, the mushrooms and bok choy were mostly mushrooms, and drenched in sesame oil. The veggie egg rolls were thick wrappers with an anemic cabbage and carrot mixture inside. Will not go back.
Perfect place for a low-key dinner date. We've had the spiciest meals here the first time we visited, but the kitchen was willing to make the food less spicy now, and it was delicious and will return again and again. Five-stars! Highly-recommended! Give it a shot! Come eat here! It's a great place.
7:30 reservation and the place was quiet. Veggie dumplings (pan fried, comes with 6) were okay- not much flavor. I had the chow fun and it was meh. They had a good cab sauv (Dough) though. Ambiance is “industrial” low light with open kitchen.
This was my third time here. I really enjoyed the food. It is mostly authentic. The xiao long bao were delicious and has a good amount of broth in each of the dumplings. The shrimp in the Kung pao shrimp were quite large and meaty. I was disappointed that the dry hot pot wasn’t very spicy or fried long enough to take on the dried seasoning and get to the right texture. But the food was still good and most people wouldn’t have noticed that. The serving of rice was also pretty stingy for two entrees. The server was attentive and was helpful. It was just a little disappointing that they ran out of the ingredients for the lychee vodka drink. I would come back for the xiao long bao and try the other dumplings. The main dishes are much better, healthier, less oily, not flavorful, etc. than what you get at a typical Chinese restaurant, but I wouldn’t come here on a monthly or weekly basis. It isn’t a great value, but I will hand have come back to introduce people to some common Chinese dishes. I think this restaurant provides good exposure for many common/popular Chinese dishes, like the xiao long bao and the mapo dofu (I’ve enjoyed during a previous visit).
