Grande Sunrise Seafood And Mexican

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in the twins cities. They also have a large variety of food options for everyone’s palate. We ordered a variety of food including steak tacos, fish and chicken. Everything was excellent. We live 40 minutes away and will return.Food: 5/5

Moved to the area and had been wanting to try this cute place for a while based on recommendations. Great location, with seating along the streets. Took my mom from out of town to dinner here on our way to an event after. Interior is very spacious, albeit needs some updating (but adds to the charm). Happened to go on a very hot 95 degree day and may have been better sitting outside. Quite warm inside and the lone in-wall A/C couldn't keep up. But we had Grande Margaritas to help cool us down. Very solid. I ordered the chicken sopes which was the weekly special that day. It was very good but the chicken was subpar. You could tell it wasn't the best cuts of chicken, quite rubbery (I don't mind chicken thighs but not sure what this was; definitely not shredded chicken breast). But the presentation and fixings were great! My mom had the 3 Amigos Combination: 1 pork tamal, 1 chile relleno and 1 enchilada. It was phenomenal. Huge chile relleno! Cheese enchilada had the best authetic cheese (likely cojito) which gave it a nice salty flavor. And the tamale was quite large and great flavor. What's great about this place and the menu is it's probably as authentic as I've had, certainly in the Twin Cities. Loved all of the seafood options!! Service was very friendly, and fast. Loved seeing it almost full on a weekday, and with many families. Definitely going to come again!

Had to get out of the mall of America to come here due to the lack of decent restaurants in the mall. As soon as you walk in you are greeted feel welcomed from the very nice people who run this place. The service was fantastic friendly, but of course the food just made it even better. It had flavor and just looked really good. The octopus taco was so delicious, the enchiladas were great with the rice beans that I was just happy it wasn’t like my previous experience at the Mexican restaurant at the mall, I even got some sweet plantains as an appetizer which was just to top off a great dinner. The drinks were also very good it just shows that they do their best to make sure you enjoy your food. If I ever come back to Minnesota I’ll def. Come back here again

Great food and margaritas!Special Request: Please consider tortilla bowls for taco salads. I tried Nachos supreme but it's not the same. I love the entrees with Mole sauce!!! Would Mole work with the fish tacos?Food: 5/5

Nachos without the beef and birria quesadillas. So delicious and the right amount for two people. The takeout was so speedy! Would eat there too.
