Bidrage med feedbackWe were asked to arrive to the bar 30 minutes before dining. We were left just to sit there and unnecessarily order drinks and select our food before waiting about 45 minutes to be taken down to the restaurant. Unfortunately both the entree and main were extremely bad, especially for the high price. I do not mind paying money for good food, but my main tasted like a Tescos pre-made three bean salad with lamb (that had no flavour). The flavours were not balanced at all, all bitter elements. We then had an underwhelming and inedible cheese course and asked to cancel our desserts as we did not want any further disappointments for the evening.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The drinks were very fresh, the food was delicious, and the staff was excellent. Despite the table next to us being rude to our wonderful waitress, she remained positive throughout the entire ordeal. We were also pleasantly surprised with champagne and a cute "congratulations" dessert for our honeymoon. I highly recommend this place if you have the chance to visit.
We had a great time dining at The Dungeon. The chef was very accommodating to our dietary restrictions and our meals were fantastic! The entire experience, from enjoying drinks and appetizers in the drawing room to dessert, was delightful. The appetizers were visually appealing and delicious, our main dishes were filling, and the desserts were fun and engaging. The atmosphere at The Dungeon was wonderful and the service was attentive.
Gorgeous dinner and great atmosphere. The grounds and castle itself are lovely, and the restaurant is a completely unique experience. The food was delicious, wonderfully presented. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves
The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the menu is limited. The restaurant itself is fantastic, but the service from the staff leaves something to be desired. This lack of attentiveness was consistent throughout the hotel during our three-day stay. There was no social interaction, no smiles, no acknowledgement of our presence, and no offer to bring us a drink. It felt as though we were invisible.
