Hachi - Middletown

We really enjoy this restaurant, particularly the sticky ribs and mango sushi.

I tried ordering delivery for the first time using DoorDash. I wanted to try a new sushi restaurant and decided to give Hachi a try due to its many positive reviews. The order was made and delivered in about 45 minutes. I was very impressed with the presentation and quality of the special rolls I received. However, I noticed that two rolls I ordered with lobster actually contained shrimp instead. Despite this, I would still consider ordering delivery from Hachi again in the future.

The food appeared to be high-end, but I ended up with a stomachache that evening and the following day (as did my friends who joined me for dinner). We all took turns needing to use the bathroom throughout the day. Additionally, I was surprised to see an extra charge on my bill for miso soup without any notification, and when it arrived, we were only given two spoons for a party of three.

This poor review is due to cost and attitude. The food is good. The lunch menu costs $12.95 on grubhub and on the menu posted on Google for a single meat hibachi lunch plate. Went to pick up two lunch orders ourselves, thinking it would be the same cost. The restaurant charged $16.95 per lunch meal for one meat. Online, this is the cost for two meats. One meat is $12.95 online. If you don’t want to be overcharged, just order online. I see lunch is cheaper on Grubhub. The food is good, however, I am not happy about being charged extra money for no reason. Especially when I could have had it delivered for $10 cheaper than it picking up myself.

Nice place for a quick bite, always friendly and the food is good for the price. I enjoy their lunch menu and come here with colleagues.
