Kaido - Miami

This restaurant is a lovely, small tapas bar and cocktail lounge. The food was delicious; we began in the main dining area and then moved to the bar for some cocktails. There were four of us in our group and we had a wonderful time.

This restaurant serves incredible Asian dishes with unique presentations that are all created by the chef. The crab Rangoon was the most delicious I've ever had, with huge crabs in this oversized appetizer. The Kampachi Grapefruit was wonderfully unusual and I enjoyed trying various dishes. The pineapple kakigori dessert was amazing. My husband enjoyed the house-brewed beer. The decor is beautiful and upscale. I would consider trying the outdoor seating next time.

Disaster is an understatement! The restaurant is beautiful, but the idea of "lounge food" is completely misleading. The 4 dishes we ordered were awful! From the wine to the appetizers and main courses, it was a total disaster. We dine and drink regularly at restaurants in NY and Miami, and this was truly a disaster.

Love this place. This place is architectonic at the time. Cutting design, conceptually stratified, details on details. The cocktails were well balanced, creative and tasty. The food is pure bliss. high-quality ingredients, used in a thoughtful but playful way and perfectly executed. Portions were perfect to start the night and we can not wait to go back to try the tasting menu.

Delicious Food, and yes, it is a cocktail lounge with tapas style high end food. Not the cheapest but worth it if you are into nice things! Don?t expect to have an experience you have on a cheap place. The food is luxurious and the drinks are amazing. Ama is amazing, sexy and fun and very exclusive.
