Lorna's Caribbean American Grill

I was excited to see the high reviews about the jerk sauce and ordered the dinner size. First it seems they just double the rice, not the meat. The rice was too sweet, too much coconut. The chicken was not bad but it was not jerk and the high rated jerk sauce tasted like regular barbecue sauce which I don't like. The cabbage was interesting, not traditional Jamaican style cabbage but it was the best thing on my plate.

We had an amazing time! The food was great so was the service!! Loved, loved the vibe!! Grown folks!! The band, the lead singer Anaye from Berklee, and the MC/hostess were all stupendous!! Thanks for a great Tuesday night!Food: 5/5

We were going to the Formula One race and wanted something to eat. Don’t let this name for you. We walk into this place and this is top notch. Super sweet nice inside. This isn’t a café or Grill and bar. Just check out the photos.I mean this is a place you go hang out in on a Friday night Saturday night. Really nice atmosphere. Great decorations really cool open bar. People were great. We didn’t eat a lot and just had some appetizers. Had the conch fried appetizer.This place is so cool and swank then you get this food in a red plastic basket? A little weird. But hey, the food is good and the atmosphere is really cool. I definitely would go back and check out more.

This is a black on establishment very clean, elegant restaurant located in the Miami Gardens area. The food here is absolutely amazing.

My first time visiting which was recommended by a friend who frequently visits the venue and I really enjoyed it. The food is delicious and is portioned correctly. The conch balls are fried to perfection served with the dipping sauce. The j chicken comes in white and dark meat options and the choice of two sides. I left satisfied; not hungry nor stuffed. There is a children's menu which is thoughtful even for brunch. The wait staff was very attentive and the overall vibe is relaxed but vibrant. Will definitely visit again as I learned they have a karaoke night and weekend brunch.
