Staff is always warm and hospitable. Great fish but long time preparing. Do yourself a favor, call and order in advance, save yourself some time! Other items not long. I love the beets, greens and legumes! Honey wine used to be great, but availability has been sketchy since return from COVID. First time dining at Awash and it was an absolutely lovely and enjoyable dining experience. Appetizers were Lentil and Meat Sambusas, and a small lamb stew dish with rolls of Injera, that were absolutely tasty.our Main courses were the Taste of Awash platter with Injera that was absolutely delectable with a generous sampling of meats(chicken, lamb, beef,lentils,corn, green beans, and cabbage in delectable sauces, on a tray of Injera, that pleased the palate. The deep fried Snapper nicely seasoned with a jalapeño sauce on the side was fried crispy, and the texture of the inside was light yet firm. It was and absolutely delicious, and was served with a tasty salad and amazing beet roots. Dinner was accompanied by Ethiopian red wine, honey wine and Ethiopian Beer. All pleasing to the palate.
