Bidrage med feedbackIncredible food and super friendly staff. They make a lot of their food from scratch including the cheese and even though we knew nothing about Ethiopian food, they taught us a lot and welcomed us as family. I’ll definitely be back!
The best split peas I've had so far in the South. Lots of great dishes, tons of flavor, the samosas are also fantastic and perfectly fried, crispy through every millimeter of bite and loaded with flavor. They also use a particular seasoning on their bread which gives it such a fresh and great spin on the typical Ethiopian bread I've had before. Super chill interior and clean bathrooms.
I have been searching for Ethiopian since coming to NC. My wife and I drove an hour to arrive to the restaurant. She wanted Ethiopian food for our Anniversary. We were walked through the menu and given suggestions for our spice level(hers is low, mine is very high). We started with the sambusa lentil and an order of beef. We both prefer the lentil, but the beef is worth trying if you want to skip veggies! Then we tried the red pepper beef a stew, and the host/owner brought out some seasoned salt, mitmita! Along with all the food being delicious, everything was served quick! And the little extras that have a very nice, very clean restaurant, a warm “at-home” feel. 10/10 will definitely come back, and we’re bringing friends!!
Great food. We ordered several different plates and ate family style to enjoy a variety of flavors. We asked for forks, as the traditional way of eating is messy. I highly recommend Nafkot.
I had the misto and miser wot. The Alecha was incredible, very flavorful and savory. Injera was quite fresh, though on the sour side for my taste. Service was personable and friendly and interactive. Great art and decor and music, mixed with fairly standard modern tables and chairs. Will be back!
