World Deli - Metairie

Whoa. This is a hidden gem. Looking for an amazing muffaletta? TRY THIS ONE. It's in my top three. Seriously. I've eaten most in New Orleans. The rest of the menu is delicious as well. The staff is friendly. They're pretty quick. There's a handful of tables too.

Could be more welcoming to new patrons. I felt I waited a bit before I was greeted to put in my order. I think they are more comfortable and engaging with 'Regulars '. I will say the order came quickly. The portion size was great. Quality of food was great. I will go back. An upgraded rating is possible.

The guy at the cash register is so sweet and lovely! The roast beef poboy and shrimp poboy is to die for. I?m in love

They have everything from fast food to full meals and they prepare meals and put them in the freezer for you to have ready when you don't feel like cooking or going out. Things like the Lasagna, ravioli, stuffed shells. They have dips,, they have catering for parties. There club sandwiches great and stuffed. They also have tons of candy homemade.
