Applebee's Grill - Metairie

We got to Applebees 7 minutes after they open. When the host sat us down at the table,my family and I notice that the table had food grums on it from the night before. I ask to speak to the manger so we can point it out to him and explain how nasty it looks.He immeidtely apologize saying that they were short staff last night.(which I stated I understand. We got there around 9pm on a Friday and were asked if we were on the waiting list. Even though they seemed pretty empty, we were told they only had 2 servers, one of which was the bartender. Very sad. There were tons of people in the parking lot “waiting”. No thank you.

I got the crispy shrimps, fried onions. Husband got grilled steak, mashed potatoes also good. Server was awesome. Thanks
