Grand Pub and Grill - Merritt

Upon entering the restaurant, we were met with unfriendly looks from the server. She asked for ID and when my friend didn't have hers, she abruptly grabbed menus and walked away. The demeanor was terrible. The tables and chairs were dirty and unkempt. Not a single table was clean and she didn't offer to clean the one we sat at. There was no courtesy in her conversation, as she didn't even wish us a good day or ask how we were doing. All we wanted was food! This was our first visit to the restaurant and we definitely won't be returning. Additionally, the server was seen laughing and smiling at other tables, but her attitude changed when she approached us. When we pointed out dirty tables, she just stood there staring at us. After finally sitting down at a different table, we received no response when we stated that it was also dirty, only to have her slap the menus down in front of us.

This restaurant/pub is a great spot to enjoy a cold beer and delicious food. I was happy to see that they still serve pitchers, which is a rarity at other places nowadays. If I find myself in Merritt again, I will definitely return to this pub. The servers were also friendly and accommodating.

I stopped by for a quick meal expecting typical pub fare, but was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and reasonable prices. I left feeling completely satisfied and impressed. I will definitely be returning in the future. Kid-friendly: Children are welcome with parents until dinner hours. Wheelchair accessible: No stairs.

The food was above par with most other pubs i have visited. The day we went, they had a fundraiser so the service was a bit off. The burgers were delicious and made with different ingredients that made them unique. They had a scallop and pork belly salad that was phenomenal. The spinach dip was also very well made. The fries were also very good. Overall i would recommend this place for a reasonably priced meal in Merritt.

This place was decent considering it's in such a small town with not a lot of other good options nearby. I had the lemon pepper wings, which were good but pretty salt. I also had the poutine, which was better than I thought it was going to be. Service was the best part of my experience. Waitress was kind and easy to communicate with. Food came out hot and fresh.
