Bidrage med feedbackThis is a lovely Park Hill hidden gem. I first went around 3:30pm on a Thursday to have a change of scene while I finished working. I sipped on a beer while sitting in their sun-soaked venue. It was very quiet. It seemed everyone was working, which was lovely. I recently stopped back in for a coffee (they have Huck beans! win) and the iced latte was shockingly good. I haven't had a lot of great espresso drinks in Denver, and this was such a welcome change. Unfortunately, they did just change their hours to close at 3 every day, but otherwise, I think this is a great spot. Super friendly baristas too.
I've consistently had great experiences at Therizo. It's a great place to get work done, enjoy a book, or sit and chat with a friend. Their coffee is great, and I love that they have beer and wine options for the afternoon (or earlier you do you! . My dog particularly loves when I pop in for a coffee to go, since I always come out with a treat for her that they keep next to the register. So glad to have such a great coffee shop within walking distance!
I saw this place opened a mile away from me. Shamefully, I drove my car (instead of walking or biking : for a visit, as the coffee shop close to me has no quality control concerning their espresso shots. The environment is very clean and bright, situated on the SE corner of 29th and Fairfax, the external walls all had tall picture windows so lots of natural light. The shop was very quiet, and there were a handful of folks on their computers, working. (I didn't hear any music but maybe it was on super low? Posted capacity is 54 wonder if they would rent out to private parties after their 3pm closing time? It would definitely be a nice hang for a Meetup or office social. Service was on point, friendly and quick; I was immediately greeted and rung up. I got there at about 11am; there were still a couple Santiagos burritos (mild left, so I got one of those. They keep the burritos warm. I ordered an iced americano, no water. There was no line so I should have just waited at the counter but ended up finding a seat. One of the servers kindly carried the drink out to me instead of calling it out for me to pick up. It's the little things, am I right? Espresso was right on, no sour off notes. (I didn't look but I assume their machine is manual or semi auto. Also, I got the drink to stay and they used a real glass. Coffee prices were right on point considering this is a new shop in a new development, basically in the $3 $6 range for coffee drinks. They do have a wine&beer license. Their website lists a wide selection of brews, but I saw a board that had just two offerings (both from local breweries . I still like my coffee shop down the block, but will likely be heading back to this place for espressso based drinks and a quiet location to work or study.
This is a genuine coffee lovers cafe. Lovely beverage selection and Santiago burritos if you arrive early enough. They expanded food choices recently, most seem decent. Great place to relax or work.
I had a solid and strong americano followed by a very well balanced cortado. The pakce is bright and airy with plenty of space to sit and crush some work. Power outlets in the table are an especially nice touch.
