Acqua Restaurante - Mérida

Enjoyed a tasty lunch at Acqua last Sunday. Carpaccio, Salads, etc all delicious. Service very attentive. Selection of gourmet burgers are great. Try the baked Brie too.

Acqua offers a quite nice lunch option. From 6 “package” lunch options that are very good value to daily specials that are normally delicious, you will find plenty to like from their cousins. Service is somewhat slow.

The place is dirty, low maintenance, uncomfortable, noisy. The food is not good, the apetizers are not that bad, the burgers are ok, flatbreads average. The entrees are the ones that made us rate this restaurant as poor... the chicken with chaya was dry, the veal was ok and the rissoto as side dish is good, tuna and curry both horrible!! Desserts are average. Service is very good!!!

This place has everything we love the most of Merida. Healthy food, family character, superior quality, nice atmosphere, friendly service, end everything more than reasonable prices. Mi wife said it 's the best place for dinner I 've known and you can bet she knows. Congratulations to the owners!

Acqua is popular with locals as the title of this review suggests. It is perfectly fine, but nothing comes to mind that would want to make me go back. Service is typically Merida-average, with waiters appearing at the table, plates in hand and asking 'el pollo? ' which is one of my pet peeves, them not knowing who ordered what. Food is good, but I can 't remember being wowed by anything. Perhaps your experience will be different?
