Mami Cheli’s - Menlo Park

I ordered an asada and a pollo street taco and they were absolutely delicious! I also got a side of chips and salsa that were very tasty. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

Super Torta was absolutely delicious with mushrooms. While they offer a vegan meat option, I chose mushrooms and the grilled flavor truly made the sandwich amazing. The mushrooms were perfectly seasoned, with a firm texture and juicy, not dry like other restaurants. Thank goodness for that. The Vegan Cheesy Pupusa was generously sized, filled with vegan meat, beans, and just the right amount of cheese. The outer layer of cheese was thick and gooey, even after waiting for my partner to arrive for about 45 minutes. It was packaged really well. I usually prefer more vinegar in my curtido, but the Pupusa was so delicious I didn't even need it this time. The large Agua Fresca I ordered was Jamaica flavored and brewed perfectly, with just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, it was clear that everything was made with love and my taste buds are thankful. Thank you so much, as a vegan Latina it can be challenging to find great options in the foods I grew up with, and this hit the spot!

The torta is really good, but I wish there were more condiments on it. Overall, it was really good. The tres quesos pupusa is also good, nice and cheesy. However, I did not like the veggie pupusa with the grilled cheese on top, but that's just my preference.

Super burrito, revuelta pupusa and street tacos were all incredibly bland. The pupusa was dry and tasteless. Even the chips and "salsa" were somehow bad. I dont understand how this place has such good reviews. Save yourself the disappointment and go to literally any other Mexican food spot. This place is not good.

I had a mushroom tacco with vegan cheese and pupusa. they made a mistake served vegan meat instead of mushrooms, then corrected it. I would recommend asking writers to repeat order to avoid confusion.
