Automatic Slim's Tonga Club - Memphis

The grits are a travesty, eggs were weird taste too. The waitress took them off our bill. Good customer service, they don't rush u out. The meat and red velvet pancakes were really delicious. Restaurant itself is very pretty and good Atmosohere.

Good brunch options. Orders just weren't accurate, or as described in menu. Taste was good. Nice drink specials. Kid options limited.

Everything started great, Stephanie was a great server.It all went downhill when the food started coming out! They gave us the rind of the watermelon as well as cantelope. Cantelope was hard and the watermelon white (with no seeds). Toranges, grapes, as well as pineapple was pretty good.I asked one person about the watermelon (the lady that brought it out, not the server) she completely ignored my request. I summoned the manager man in the green shirt (sun jul 10) and he proceeded to tell me it was organic seedless watermelon (I don’t think he even knew what a watermelon rind was) and caught an attitude but took it off the bill.Then the hot food comes out (4+ plates). The chicken and waffles were overdone. So overdone I handed it to Stephanie to go give to the man in the green shirt because it was ROCK SOLID! He went back to ask them to prepare more, but at this my 4yo will be done eating by time that plate comes out, so no thank you!Good things about our meal include: Mimosas, Blueberry waffle, grapes, pineapples, eggs, sausage, slim’s scramble!

I usually eat a light breakfast, but chose this place for a treat on our last day in Memphis, intrigued by all the waffle options. There were NO waffle options available the day we showed up. They were also out of fruit. I asked for an eggs benedict without the fish, but they said that was just eggs and hollandaise, and didn't come with any kind of bread. I've never just left a place before after sitting down, but it didn't make sense to stay when then first 3 things I wanted weren't possible. Maybe it was just an off day. The place is cute and a good location, and the server was nice.

No Service is the Not the best yet they automatically add on a 20% gratuity!! Took over 45 minutes to get our food. The pancakes tasted sour, the scrambled eggs Gg's had shells and they forgot an entree. Do not go wish we had read the reviews before
