Bidrage med feedbackThis place is overwhelmingly disappointing. The food was cold. The salmon looked like it came from a frozen bag from Walmart. My wife’s dish was unrecognizable and also cold. I hate to give bad reviews but this might be the worst dining experience that I have ever had in Memphis. Service was disappointing and there was a prix fixe menu not mentioned before making reservations. Also, the reservations were made for 12:15 on the patio. When we arrived, there were no patio tables available. Tomato soup was good other than that- pick some place else.
My family was visiting Memphis for Easter weekend and we reserved an outdoor table at Bounty on Broad for Easter Brunch. We had a very poor experience. Of the three course prix fixe menu, we made it through about half. Starters came out fine, but the table only received 2 of our 4 entrees. When a server checked on our table it had been 20 minutes after the initial entrees were served. When the second two entrees were brought out the quality was abysmal, almost as if they kitchen had run out of the primary ingredients and tried to cobble a meal together using other things lying around. The second two entrees were inedible. At this point our group was about 90 minutes into our brunch and saw no reason to try and stay for dessert. Tables around had waited upwards of 30 minutes for their dessert course. Fortunately, we were comped our meal and left before finishing. When we left we saw many parties waiting for their tables, and 5 or 6 groups left angrily because it seemed like the restaurant was unable to accommodate their reservation. Overall, this was a very poor showing for a restaurant that was once an anchor for the neighborhood.
Unfortunately, the service was not good. We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated even though we had reservations, with nobody even acknowledging us. After being seated, it took another 15 minutes for a server to come by and that was only after we inquired. I actually had to go to the bar to order drinks more than once even though we were seated at a table. No water provided, appetizer forgotten, and our server never gave us his name. The food was okay.
Seated quickly. Server stressed even though there were few tables to serve initially. Server could not describe how some of the dishes were prepared on the very limited prix fix menu. Food took way too long to be served Luke warm. Service really sucked.
The food was exceptional but unfortunately, the service was unprofessional. For the price point of the menu, the service should be excellent so we won't return because of the service. It seemed like no one was managing the restaurant.
