Joella's Hot Chicken Melbourne

The chicken was good but overpriced. I got the two chicken dinner and I paid more than $12 for my meal.

Thought I 'd give it a try, since it 's been open for awhile. Got there about 6:30 pm Sunday and hardly any vehicles in the parking lot...first sign of what to expect. Had 1 customer inside eating and 1 waiting on a take out order. So, getting to the point, the chicken was moist but warm not hot. The breading was soggy and didn 't stick to the chicken because it had to be coated with the heat you requested. The breading wasn 't crunchy and didn 't have much flavor, even with the hot flavor coated on. The fries was the best part of the meal, sad to say! I 'll be sticking to Zaxby 's period. Very disappointed overall!

I was disappointed when I visited this place. The chicken was ok, nothing to call special, I actually prefer Publix deli chicken. The reasonI gave it so few stars was the sauces. They offer a ton of sauces, but you pay extra for each tiny cup of sauce. I would think you should get a free sauce with your order and have it marked additional sauces are a set price extra. I couldn't believe what I paid for 2 chicken strips with honey shirricha on them. The sides were tiny for the price as well. I have not been back. Wish it was still Pollo Tropical.

Our first time here. It was delicious we really enjoyed the lunch special. All the employees were friendly. The service was wonderful and the restaurant was clean.

So many words I could say about this place the food. Great flavor! Yummy! Fresh! Hot! I like the little thin fries best but either fry is delish dine in the garlic parm. Chicken is always great! We tried the cod plate in Ella's Fav tonight...wow! Not sure why this cod is a limited time thing...it should be on the menu. Coleslaw was good too! Light fresh. We've tried the banana pudding also...so yummy! (Gave 1 less star b cuz I had a free tender they burned that puppy so bad it's not edible. That's a first tho.
