The Lodge At Trappers Lake - Meeker

Such an amazing experience! do not plan to buy gas on the way. this is in real backcountry and there is nothing and no one for miles. but it was great and exactly what we wanted for our float to be lost in the rockies. I highly recommend to make the beautiful journey as it is worth!

Eating was great and seemed like the cook had a passion for good cooking. the lodge has a rustic inner feeling. will definitely come back!

The journey worth it! beautiful opposite! the foods and drinks were amazing after a long day of hiking.

Don’t plan to eat here if you are vegetarian: expensive dinner of nothing but grilled vegetables “prix fixe” with no options)—had to ask what the sauces on the grilled zucchini and the green beans were, with vague answers and the implication that we were inconveniencing the staff by wanting to know what we were eating. For breakfast, manage said “we might have eggs” and when we asked if eggs were available, acted put out and gave a vague answer, so we weren’t sure whether or not they would be, then came out with a pan with eggs annoyed that we didn’t have plates ready to receive them—but we weren’t even sure eggs were available, let alone that they were being made just for us!

Eat was great! the service was at best bad. the waitress had no smile and shimmered with nothing to say around. When we asked for a drink menu, she said there was not one and unfortunately we were on the upper shelf what we had to get up to see what was also on their upper regal, the doses of soda. I was hoping she would suggest one of her big mix drinks I had before. I love trappers lake, but your dinner waiting staff needs a real improvement.
