The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Medicine Hat

Friday evening and I was with an elderly friend who is a seriously fussy eater.

My sons took me there for my 70th birthday. I ordered Steak salad and a side of Crab legs, steak was tough and chewy already cut into, and the crab was abysmal , dry ,overcooked and tasteless.Asked for doggy bag for steak, seems it had been thrown in garbage, waiter offered to get me another to go, I was so fed up with the whole experience I declined. For the price point of this restaurant I would say it SUCKS.Won't be going there again!!

This was a well presented steakhouse with great service from Marlee, the food was great and the service was quick and efficient

We never expected to complain about the service being too good. We went to the restaurant for a romantic anniversary dinner, with a reservation at 6:30. We ended up paying our bill at 7:29, feeling rushed through the meal. Our appetizer was almost finished before our drinks arrived, and the server was clearing our plates before we were done eating. The bill even came before we had finished dessert. Although our server mentioned a complimentary champagne or pie for our anniversary, we never received the pie. Instead, we ordered Creme Brûlée, feeling too rushed to mention the missing dessert. The food was delicious, but the overall experience felt hurried.
