Pine Lodge Steakhouse - McHenry

This was our 2nd attempt after a somewhat disastrous visit in the off season several years ago. Our entrees were ok, but nothing special. The service was friendly, although somewhat inattentive (there was a large party at another table that seemed to be the focus). Frankly, there are better choices in the Deep Creek area.

Wonderful food! Been going to Deep Creek for many many years and first time here. Steaks were perfectly cooked and appetizers were excellent. Really enjoyed the French onion with portobello mushrooms instead of bread! Will definitely make this a staple date night each year for vacation.

Prime rib was not edible. Cowboy ribeye was a very poor grade. Loaded potato was old. Broccoli Was tuff. Service was good. Salad was good but came out after our entree was serviced

A little day trip lunch. Everything was great. Service, food, and even stopped at the gift shop.

Ribs are back and are the best in town. Every time we go in there they have UFC fighting on the TVs, not very appetizing of conducive to fine dining.
