Bidrage med feedbackWe went last night to juanitas and we both experienced an excellent meal with absolutely excellent service. They have a good menu, the place was very clean, and the staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. I'm very. very pleased that they try it.
Juanita is her typical hole in the wall. in the golden zone most foreigners pass this type of location, but they should not because they always have the real local food at bargain prices. it was full of state members who always looked outpicious, something I was happy to see, although I was very hungry. a short waiting period, but the plate of huevos a la mexicana with a good part of thick fried beans, a hunk of land cheese, tortillas and a cup of coffee happy persuaded my appetit. at 50 pesos is a real bargain especially for this area. the service was good.
Love the food authentic Mexican cuisine and so inexpensive. We are not crazy about the noise from Sabalo, but we put up with it because of the food!
We stopped for lunch. The Mexican plate was ample and tasty. I was particularly impressed with the sweet corn tamales to the point that we order a couple extra to take back to our room. The prices were embarrassingly reasonable and service was friendly...and personal.
First we were confused by the 2 restaurants, juanitos and juanitas. so we expected to rip on the menu. No, that seems to be the other! on ta recommended the men the leber and swirl so that my man was excited again, then was. said there was no more (about 18:30 clock, not very good.) so we moved on to the rest of the menu. the servigr did not seem to speak English, but we spoke to order Spanish. I got the Mexican plate and my man got the steak plate. both have proved to be very good, especially as the fools. the plates were good over 100 pesos pro, so previous reviews were misleading there also about how cheap it was (as well as about employees speak English and super friendly.) during the meal a young man approached the only other customers to flee, and they treated it very well, told him he could eat but did not have money. we talked about it and others were talking to them. then we were addressed by a woman who held a young one at 5. we told her in Spanish, we could order her to eat, but don't give her money. She agreed, but only for the one who went out. then we decided for our hotel. when we approached who we see, but the same woman, enter the outdoor restaurant in our hotel and flee again. and who did I see on the beach the next day? you guessed it!
