Mim's Kitchen - Marlinton

My husband and I are out of towners and just so happened to stumble upon this local gem of a spot! We stopped here for lunch before heading out to fly fish. The food was wonderful, the place was cute, chic cabin, and the service was super friendly! People were wearing masks and distancing while standing in line which was great. I had the roast beef and my husband had the country ham. As a southern, I know me some roast beef as I grew up with having it every Sunday. Believe be when I say that Mim's roast beef tasted just like my dad's. And the country ham was just as good! Highly recommend this spot.

The food was excellent! Service was superb! They simply couldn't do enough for you. The building and decor outstanding. Felt like home.

Mim’s is the perfect dining experience. The restaurant and her serving setup is spotless and beautifully decorated, the food is delicious, and she and her grandson are sweethearts. While WV is my home, I have traveled to seven other countries and have eaten in many restaurants. Mim’s is absolutely one of my favorites. When visiting the Marlinton area, treat yourself to a meal and dessert at Mim’s. You’ll be glad you did.

Hands down, the best meal I've had! Best off the beaten path diner! Well.worth the 4 hr. Drive to get there from Charleston W.V. operated and run by a wife,husband son. Everything is home cooked from scratch! The atmosphere,decor was all designed and built by the family...simply adoring! Once you go there you'll be hooked!

Stopped by and had a great meal after a long day of hiking. I had baked steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cucumber and tomato dill salad, a roll with butter and cheese, and turtle cheesecake that filled me up good.
